I am slowly catching up! The leaning tower of Pisa was ...well... leaning. Joined by an Aussie who was a fellow traveler, we wondered around the extremely small city for 4 hours. I stopped only for a short time as a layover between my train from Florence and my train to Nice. There wasn't much to do expect kick the tower, hold it up, shop at tourist traps and watch everyone else doing the same thing. The most amusing part about the whole city is watching thousands of people take the picture and then say "ok, now what do we do." It is a very quaint city and I recommend at least seeing the tower before it falls.
