Switzerland & Beyond (Tyler's leg)

When Kori went east of Prague to visit the splendors of Vienna and Croatia, I headed west to the snow capped monuments of glacial rock sculpture, otherwise known as the Swiss Alps. There I was greeted by a new friend named Elias who showed me around the city of Luzerne, home of Europe's oldest wooden bridge and an assortment of ancient castle walls which snake across the hillsides and carve through the quaint town square. Then from Luzerne I took the scenic train route past shimmering lakes and staggering cliffs to Interlaken. Interlaken is, as the name suggests, nestled between two large lakes that are so clean and pure that they beg you to peel your clothes off and jump in (if only they weren't freezing cold). In Interlaken I was hosted by a girl who grew up in Colorado but, thanks to dual citizenship, is able to live and work at a museum in Switzerland. She showed me the best hiking trails to undertake, and so I did! I took a train to Grindelwald, just south of Interlaken, and embarked on what proved to be a day-long hike. Check out the video to get a feel for what I experienced :)
